Woodland Wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate: Day 3 and beyond

Allie and Joe’s wedding day was a true fairy tale. It was filled with warm colors and wildflowers that perfectly complemented the rustic charm of Cedar Lakes Estates. The overall design itself was delicate, classy, and romantic.

Stunning wildflowers throughout the entire day.

An element that was as pervasive throughout the day as the couple’s obvious love for each other, was the abundance of organic wildflowers. From the bridal party’s dresses, to the bride’s hair, to the floral arrangements on the tables, the flowers made the event feel even more whimsical. Even the show-stopping baby pink custom seating chart with pressed flowers in the frames.

The ceremony itself was scene out of a movie. At the altar, among the evergreen trees, as the couples held hands and said “I do,” sunlight glistened on the lake and shone through the clearing in the threes and directly on the couple. The couple partook in a tree ceremony where they added dirt to a tree sapling that will grow and flourish as the years go on just like their relationship.

The bride later shared that the ceremony was a magical moment that will be engrained in her mind forever.

After the guests enjoyed the sunset among the trees and a perfect cocktail hour on the patio.

The magic then followed the couple into the rustic yet elegant barn where farm tables lined with flowers and romantic candles were lit. There, the bride and groom had their first dance but the party was only beginning. It was going to be a long night of celebrating!

After an incredible evening of a scrumptious perfectly plated dinner guests were on the dance floor enjoying the bands hype and pure energy!

The party did not stop there. Guests were later invited to a wild college themed after party that was reminiscent of the couple’s years attending Bucknell University together. No college party is complete without a DJ, drinking games, dancing, and of course, red solo cups. The one requirement upon entry is that everyone wore a glow stick!

Everyone young and old danced all night long.

As the weekend celebration came to an end, guests enjoyed a lovely brunch as they decompressed from the crazy night before and said their goodbye to the couple, family and friends.

The couple lived happily Velli after and this weekend will forever remain in everyone’s mind as one of the greatest adult camp weekends of their lives.

Congrats to the sweetest couple around! 🙂
