The lovely couple, Allie and Joe Velli, invited all their friends a family for a three-day weekend getaway to celebrate their wedding, dubbing the occasion Camp Velli. Held at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY where trees and the lake were the only things to be seen for miles, all 175 guests stayed on the property and slept in cabins. Upon arrival, each guest was gifted with welcome bags with a custom Camp Velli logo. It was filled with nostalgic camp-like snacks; chips, goldfish, and granola bars. The entire weekend was an elevated camp experience for adults to celebrate the love of Allie and Joe.

Allie always dreamed of saying “I do” among evergreen trees and really wanted a whole weekend to bring together their loved ones, do fun activities, and just hang out as they celebrated their newest adventure as husband and wife.
The couple chose Cedar Lakes Estates not only for its evergreens and stunning views, but also because of its dedication to the environment. The owners of the venue, Stephanie and Lisa, are very eco-concious and try to have as little waste as possible. They even compost at the venue!
Sustainability was very important to both Allie and Joe. It was an important part to the planning process. All stationery, from the save-the-date’s to the invitations, were designed and provided by Whole Weddings, a plantable paper company. Within the plantable paper there were seeds. Each invitation could be planted into the ground to grow into a flower, herb or vegetable! The bride planted her save-the-date which had sprouted into a pepper before the wedding!
The bride wished for this to be an event that everyone would remember forever — and it was.
