This boho wedding at the rustic Chatfield Hollow Inn made the night feel like a fairy tale. Nicole and Peter were joined by friends and family in Killingworth, Connecticut for a celebration that was as elegant and whimsical as it was rustic and cozy.
This adventurous couple has travelled all around the world and wanted to include elements of their favorite places! The warm rust and terra-cotta color palate was reminiscent of the desert and the bleached leaves, pampas grass, and palm fronds were inspired by the California coast — the couple even got engaged in Big Sur.
As the sun began to set after the ceremony, the festivities had only just begun — the fairy lights in the tent made everyone feel as if they were dancing underneath the starry night sky. Highlights of the celebration includes the vintage van photo booth, the succulent wall, and the two alpacas inspired by South America that were the life of the party.
Guests felt like they were transported to somewhere else with all the different cultural elements and experiences that created an overall fun and playful wedding that they’ll never forget.
When the festivities slowly came to an end and after dancing the night away, guests were able to take a rest in the chic and cozy lounge areas filled with Turkish furniture.
