As Connecticut wedding planners, we are often excited by our couples’ wild wedding inspiration, but Jessica and Mike’s colorful street party wedding just might take the cake. This wedding might actually have been the highlight of my entire life (I’m Chelsea by the way – and you can learn more about the team here at Pearl Weddings and Events here). Today on the blog, I’m sharing this incredible cul-de-sac wedding in Avon, Connecticut. Filled with the most incredible details – from chalk art down the aisle to food truck catering and lawn games – we hope Jessica and Mike’s wedding brings you as much joy as it does for us! We couldn’t wait to share this colorful wedding inspiration!
Unique Wedding Details
Although we could go on and on about all of the incredible details, we want to highlight just a few of our favorites that made Jessica and Mike’s outdoor wedding a truly unique affair. First, there was the chalk art aisle that was designed just the day before the wedding (not exactly something you can do in advance!). It made such a statement and brought so much color into the wedding ceremony. The signage was also completely unique and designed around them – with a custom wedding map, a signature cocktails sign which included the world’s most precious fur baby, and even a “family tree” with framed photos of their precious family. Last but not least, instead of having a traditional cake to cut, they chose to have a cake pinata! It was absolutely so cool and I loved every single minute of it. They literally had EVERYTHING.
Jessica and Mike’s Wedding Truly Felt Like a Celebration!
Here at Pearl Weddings and Events, we literally live to create weddings and events that feel exactly like you. I think that’s part of the reason it was so satisfying and life-affirming watching Jessica and Mike’s wedding day come together. It was a tall order to find something as joyful and magical as these two, but I think we just might have pulled it off.
Looking back on this gorgeous day, I can’t help but just feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude, not only for these two (who I am insanely grateful to have met) but for all of the couples we have met and worked with in the past couple years. As we start to set our sights on 2022, I can’t help but feel inspired by the work we have already created.
