Connecticut Micro Wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard

I am overjoyed to share Meghan & Patrick’s micro wedding with you all today. Meghan and Patrick originally planned a larger wedding but when COVID hit we had to change everything. Like so many couples, they were overwhelmed and defeated (my heart broke for them!). When they called Pearl Weddings and Events, they needed help re-planning and re-designing their wedding day. We wanted to help create something they could be excited for again. Meghan and Patrick ended up with a stunning Connecticut micro wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard and as you’ll see in the photos, it was incredible.

A Rustic Elegant Micro Wedding

Despite the guest list being smaller, we didn’t skimp on any of the special touches for them or their guests. From individual champagne bottles as a pre-ceremony drink to a cigar bar at the reception, Meghan and Patrick were able to get everything they had wanted while spending their day with the people they loved the most. We added a few decor pieces to accommodate the ever changing landscape of 2020 as well, like sanitizer stations and we used a unique setup where the seating chart was sectioned out by guest groupings. It was a lovely social distanced/Pandemic friendly wedding! You would have never known this wasn’t the original plan.

Fall Wedding Timeline at Saltwater Farm Vineyard

One of the things we have grown to love about micro weddings in Connecticut, is the more relaxed timeline we can having throughout the day. Nothing feels rushed or stressed. For Meghan and Patrick’s fall wedding, we started with the bride’s first look with her father – which was VERY sweet and emotion-filled. After that, the outdoor wedding ceremony was short and sweet so there was lots of time to get some photos of just the two of them at Saltwater Farm Vineyard (an absolutely gorgeous wedding location-if we haven’t mentioned that yet).

After that, Meghan and Patrick also got to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. If you are ever worried about missing out with a smaller guest list, you don’t need to worry. Meghan and Patrick enjoyed their first dance, dances with their parents, toasts, they even brought in classic lawn games to their outdoor tented reception!
