When Pearl Wedding and Events was asked to create a styled shoot to celebrate the new event space at New Park Brewing, we jumped at the opportunity. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that in the last year we have expanded our Connecticut wedding planning team (while still maintaining our high standards and personal touch – of course). This styled shoot was planned and designed entirely by Casey and Alana, who have both been such an incredible addition to the Pearl Weddings and Events team in the last year. Together with a team of incredible Connecticut wedding vendors, they knocked it out of the park!
New Park Brewing Wedding in The Barrel Room
I have to say, I am really excited about this new event space in West Hartford, CT. It’s already a known issue that venue availability is going to be an issue for 2021/2022 weddings so we are thrilled when new spaces pop up. This micro wedding venue will be able to accommodate up to 94 guests. When Casey and Alana checked out the new event space (The Barrel Room), they saw the pink tropical wall and were inspired to create a modern industrial oasis vibe. The space is amazing and Casey and Alana absolutely nailed the design execution.
Unique Wedding Elements for a Connecticut Brewery
I loved all of the tropical elements (the greenery wall for the ceremony was incredible!), but we also had fun playing with the venue’s brewery atmosphere. Casey absolutely LOVES to design neat seating charts and she went all in with the beer shelf below. It was colorful and truly one-of-a-kind. Speaking of truly unique elements, I loved the ultra modern cake combined with classic florals. We always want to design a wedding that is unique to each couple, and that means thinking outside the box and not feeling confined to choosing decor elements from just one style. It’s worth the effort!
Real Connecticut Weddings
We love getting a chance to flex our creative muscles and experiment new designs with our colleagues in the wedding industry. Not only that, but the models are the sweetest couple of all time. Everyone agreed that their love and spirit radiated throughout the room and you can tell in the photos. We were also able to feature dresses that were designed and made specifically for the shoot by Andria Bird (owner of Love Bird Bridal Shop). To sum it up, we had an incredible team for this styled shoot at the newest micro wedding venue in Connecticut – the Barrel Room at New Park Brewery.
