In 2020, we all had to learn to be a little more flexible than we usually like to be. Nicole and Sean’s wedding was the perfect example of when you are open to seeing the possibility beyond the obstacle, incredible things can happen. At Pearl Weddings and Events, we work tirelessly to make sure everything goes off even better than you imagined (and if you check out our portfolio, I think we can safely say we go above and beyond every time). Deciding to have a Home Wedding
For Nicole and Sean, they originally had a large wedding planned in New York. Their wedding was set for Fall 2020, and due to COVID restrictions, they chose to switch to an at home wedding with only their closest family and friends. It ended up being an absolutely beautiful day and we can’t wait to share it with you on the blog today! It just goes to show, sometimes the unplanned goes even better than what you had originally planned. Nicole and Sean had just bought their home that year so it was really special for them to be able to host their wedding at their new home. Their home was an absolutely incredible wedding venue too – with lots of outdoor space for their ceremony and reception.
Rustic Outdoor Tented Wedding
Nicole and Sean wanted a rustic vibe for their outdoor wedding in the fall (they got married on October 23, 2020). At Pearl weddings and events, we love to create wedding designs that are truly unique to each couple. We didn’t just use rustic wedding decor, we also added in some boho touches with pampas grass aisle markers and vintage touches like the suitcases at the ceremony arch. When we started designing Nicole and Sean’s home wedding, we took advantage of the beautiful fall colors that were already surrounding the property.
Home Weddings in Connecticut
We always adore home weddings. As natural designers, nothing fills our cup up more than designing and building a wedding venue from scratch – which is basically what a home wedding entails. With nothing included, we have the chance to choose every single detail and create a truly unique day. We also enjoy the sentimental nature that home weddings bring, and if you are considering hosting a microwedding at home, we would love to help! Click the button below to get in touch. We would love to connect and get to know more about your wedding day vision.
