How Do You Know Which Wedding Vendors To Choose When There Are So Many Options?
I saw this question come through one of the Facebook Wedding Communities I am a part of. I thought, what a great question! There are so many wonderful vendors out there, how do you know which one to choose?
You want to find vendors that match you in these 5 basic categories:

style,
-
vision,
-
vibe,
-
price and,
-
wedding needs!

I am going to be honest here – It takes a lot of research, review and outreach to understand these 5 categories well.
For instance, you do not necessarily understand PRICING just from a vendors webpage. Weddings are very complex and vendors are always adjusting and changing their packages to meet everyone’s needs. So most pricing is an estimate that may change depending on your special day. So pricing – you must reach out.
Social media is a great place to understand your wedding vendors VISION/STYLE but their VIBE is really important! You can only understand someone’s vibe once you connect with them over the phone or in person. I always suggest meeting each of your vendors. At the end of the day, you are the one that needs to make that connection with your vendor for yourself.
Finally, you must always verbalize and communicate all your WEDDING NEEDS. Make sure the vendor understands completely, what you are looking for from them so they can honestly tell you if it is a good fit!
All of this might seem very difficult because a lot of your wedding day decisions need to be based on intuition and listening to yourself. However, this is one of the many reasons why I love this industry. 🙂
