June 25th Jill and Jeremy tied the knot and it was more than magical, it was pure bliss! They held their intimate wedding at The Spirit Horse Farm in beautiful Kent, CT. This part of Connecticut is full of old-style, well-kept Connecticut homes. Everywhere you look you are marveled by the acres of green, beauty and delight.
Jill and I met on the set of a styled shoot. We clicked immediately. She is an incredible hair stylist. I basically told her “I trust you”. I knew she would create something astounding. And that she did. That styled shoot we name Industrial Chic and our work was featured on Love + Lavender! Pretty great way to start a relationship, right?
After we connected on the styled shoot Jill asked me to be a part of her wedding. Knowing her creative magic, kind heart and love for Love, I said “Yes!”.
We had so much fun working together. Our first meeting was held at 4 Eat & Drink in Farmington, CT. We ate from their delicious happy hour menu and talked all about her plans and ideas. I could feel the excitement and thrill radiating off her. I knew everything she was envisioning was going to come to life because she had intention with her vision.
It was all so satisfying because her vision came together with such ease. The day of her wedding she was so relaxed and just allowed the day to create itself. And It came out SO beautiful.
There was one moment of the day I will not forget. It was when I went to check on her. I asked if she had any specific details that she might want me to implement for the “cocktail hour” space. She looked at me and said “I trust you”. I melted. I was given a blank canvas and complete trust to pull together something beautiful. The entire experience was amazing!
